I’m successful because I started as an ESL student at Alemany City College and now I’m studying Transitional Studies at Mission Campus.
I feel I’m successful because when I started studying for the High School Diploma 2 1/2 years ago, I thought 3 years were long time, but now I’m almost finishing my 3 years program.
My name is Tom. I’m a teacher at the Community College of San Francisco. I’m a success because I create opportunities for students to learn. I see their reading and writing skills improve. I also see their thinking become more critical. They all have different goals: some are getting their high school diploma, some want to pass the GED tests, and some want to improve their English. My classes help them to achieve those goals.

I really feel that i’m succesful becouse ESL help me a lot with my english when i started as student at mission campos city college.2 and half years ago.but when i hearded that the people can get the high school diploma in 3 years.i though .it’s going to take long time, but i started either way at that time ,and now i almost finish 3 years , i hope i,m going to get my high school diploma in .may 2012.
